Royal Bank of Canada Restructuring Its Network

As part of of the ongoing efforts to streamline operations in St Lucia, Royal Bank and RBTT today announced a restructuring of their branches in St. Lucia.
Here are the changes that customers as well as employees will have to deal with:
1. Closure of RBTT Vieux Fort Branch
2. Closure of RBTT Gablewoods Branch
3. Relocation of Royal Bank of Canada, Castries Branch to Micoud Street (RBTT)
These changes are expected to take place within the next 2 - 5 months.
Mr Isaac Solomon, managing director of RBC/RBTT stated
"We have been looking closely at our operations across the Eastern Caribbean, for some time with a few to ensuring that we are designing a more efficient business, one that is more sustainable and that effectively serves our clients."
He further explained
"The economies of the Eastern Caribbean continue to face tough challenges and RBC/RBBT as a committed partner to the region, must be flexible and nimble in its response to the external environment, while continuing to be responsive to our clients' needs."
The affected employees have already been informed of the coming changes.
